Welcome to our school!

Everyone involved in the running of Long Toft welcomes you to the school website. We are a very dedicated and hardworking team, ensuring that your children work to their full potential and enjoy attending school. We hope you find the website interesting and informative.
 

When you call our school you will speak to our lovely ladies in the office, either Miss. Gorman, Mrs. Hall, Mrs. Wilkinson or Mrs. Addison. From there if you would like to speak to our head teacher, please ask for Mrs. Wainman. If you would like to speak to our deputy head teacher please ask for Mr. Howlett. If you would like to speak to our SENCo please ask for Mrs. Harte. Otherwise please explain the reason for your call and you will be directed to the correct person. 

Should you require any paper copies of any of the documents on our website, please email admin@longtoftschool.co.uk in order to make the request.

Justina comes runner up in Ed Miliband Letter Competition

Our wonderful Justina came runner up in a recent 'Dear Ed', Ed Miliband Letter Competion with the attached letter. Not only was she runner up, she will also receive a certificate and a collection of books. Well done Justina! ✒️

W/C 22 June - Closure Details Due To Extreme Weather

With the extreme heat being experienced we are taking the following steps to keep children and school safe. We know that families need to be able to make plans to get children to school and pick them up again. These steps are in place because of extreme temperatures being experienced in classrooms.

PLEASE NOTE THAT as learning will take place as normal. Children can wear PE kit, bring fans to school and lots of water to drink throughout the morning.

Thursday 25 June am – open as usual
Thursday 25 June pm – 1pm pick up

Friday 26 June am – open as usual
Friday 26 June pm – 1pm pick up

Please note, children will continue to have school lunches as normal.

Doncaster Reading Competition

Doncaster Junior Civic Mayor & Primary Ambassadors have launched a Reading Competition - The Read-iculous Places Challenge.

To be in with a chance of reading some prizes from the National Literacy trust, please send your photos to the email address on the poster.

If you would also like to copy 6B@longtoftschool.co.uk into your email, we could use some of your photos for a reading display in school too!

The deadline is the 10th of July.
