Welcome to our school!
Everyone involved in the running of Long Toft welcomes you to the school website. We are a very dedicated and hardworking team, ensuring that your children work to their full potential and enjoy attending school. We hope you find the website interesting and informative.
When you call our school you will speak to our lovely ladies in the office, either Miss. Gorman, Mrs. Hall, Mrs. Wilkinson or Mrs. Addison. From there if you would like to speak to our head teacher, please ask for Mrs. Wainman. If you would like to speak to our deputy head teacher please ask for Mr. Howlett. If you would like to speak to our SENCo please ask for Mrs. Harte. Otherwise please explain the reason for your call and you will be directed to the correct person.
Should you require any paper copies of any of the documents on our website, please email admin@longtoftschool.co.uk in order to make the request.

NEW Dinner Menu - Summer 25/26
Please find attached the new dinner menus, which will run until the end of this academic year. We hope the children enjoy the new options.
If your child currently has a packed lunch and would like to try school meals, please pop into the office and let us know.
Easter Attendance Countdown
Well done to all children for your great effort in attending school over the past four weeks.
Congratulations to our Week 4 winners, who achieved 100% attendance for the duration of the countdown and were selected in our prize draw.
Celebrating Eid at Long Toft
Damarai and Ayan belatedly celebrated Eid with their classmates this afternoon. We shared milk balls and gulab jamun with ice cream. They also told us all about their experiences of Eid last week. Thank you to Ayan and Damarai for preparing the lovely food. We also need to thank Mr. Butler and his colleagues from The Curry Leaf, Epworth restaurant for their very kind donation.
Assembly Awards
Each week, in our whole-school assembly, we celebrate our Star Writers and Long Toft Learner Awards. Certificates are presented by Mrs Wainman.
These awards recognise the children’s hard work and positive attitudes. Parents and carers are encouraged to check here weekly to celebrate their child’s achievements.
Well done to those who have received these awards.
Y6 Taste the Ancient World!
Y6 have been taste testing Ancient Mayan hot chocolate as part of their stunning start! They had to grind cacao nibs using a pestle and mortar and then compared to modern day hot chocolate.
