Why do your children think reading is important?

As part of Book Week, all classes created mind maps to share why they think reading is important. Children came up with lots of great ideas, from learning new words and improving their knowledge to using their imagination and relaxing with a good book.

Please take a moment to look at the mind maps and see why your children think reading is important.

Florence Leads Early International Women’s Day Celebration's in School

Florence, our resident feminist, was eager to celebrate International Women’s Day slightly early this year. The Y5/6 corridor is now decorated with a pink sparkly banner (at her request) and she delivered some handmade card this morning to celebrate.

Thank you, Florence 💗
